ACCOMPLISHMENTS
On Mother's Day of 2014 I started The Mike Drury Movement in honor of my mom, who was killed in a distracted driving accident. Since that time, with the love and support of family and friends, I have been continuing to try to help make the roads a safer place for us all, and raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving. A special thank you to my wife, Tracey Drury, and my friends Angela Rose, Ryan Garcia, and Mark Schmitt for their help in getting my movement started online.

"As I mentioned above, a few of my bills failed to report from committee this week. One, SB 1279, would have made driving while using a cell phone illegal, if not done hands-free or with a hands-free device. One of my constituents, Mike Drury, is championing this issue, and I will continue to push to make our roads safer in future sessions."
